MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is preparing to send 400 Filipino nurses to Germany.

According to the POEA, they are receiving applications for nurses under the German Federal Republic’s Triple Win Project. The search for applicants began in July 2018. Because it is under the agreement between two governments, applicants do not have to pay, and this is confirmed by POEA Administrator Bernard Olalia in an interview.

The German employer will respond to visa fees and fare from nurses to Germany, and can also cover part of the cost of living in the first part of the transfer.

Qualifications include:

must be a Filipino citizen, male or female
permanent resident of the Philippines
graduated from Bachelor of Science in Nursing
there is a Philippine Nursing License with at least two years of more than two years experience (bedside) in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, etc.

Interested applicants are also required to learn German or want to undergo German language training in the Philippines to achieve Level B1 (employer’s pay).

They are also required to attend language classes in April and May 2019, or at B1 or B2 Level Proficiency Language in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Qualified applicants must first register at POEA’s online service (http://www.eservices.poea.gov.ph). Applicants must submit personal documents in a folder with a heading “German Federal Employment Agency RSF No. 180028” at Blas F. Ople Bldg. (former POEA Bldg.), Ortigas Avenue corner EDSA, Mandaluyong City

The deadline for submission of applications to POEA Central and regional offices is February 28, and interviews of employers are scheduled by the end of March.

Ang German employer ang sasagot sa visa fees at pamasahe ng mga nurse papunta ng Germany, at maaari ding sagutin ang bahagi ng gastusin sa tirahan sa unang bahagi ng pag-lipat.
